CapitaLandA Stanford-educated registered Professional Engineer (Civil; Massachusetts, USA) and Singapore Permanent Resident, he brings over 27 years of experience spanning sustainability, development, project management, and environmental engineering. His career has cut across client, government, and consultant perspectives — giving him a rare, multi-sided view of how sustainability gets built and delivered in practice.Previously, he led innovation and certification programmes (Green Mark, LEAF, SITES) and developed Operational Environmental Monitoring & Management Plans, establishing himself as a Subject Matter Expert in green certification, thermal comfort, water treatment and recycling, and wastewater treatment.At CapitaLand, he drives progress against CLIs 2030 Sustainability Master Plan targets through innovation and technology, including initiatives sourced via the CapitaLand Sustainability X Challenge. He has piloted technologies across CapitaLands global portfolio — from renewable energy and low-carbon materials to SaaS, water efficiency, waste circularity, and building wellness — sharing those lessons through panels, fireside chats, talks, and podcasts. His team also leads physical climate risk assessment through an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) process. In thought leadership, he co-authored Eco-nomics of Green Investments, an objective framework helping real estate asset managers evaluate ROI from green capital expenditure.
