Co-Founder and Managing Partner
Mangusta CapitalKevin Jiang is the Founder and CEO of Mangusta Capital, a global venture firm investing in AI-native technology companies across the stack, from infrastructure to industry-transforming applications. Anchored by the Del Vecchio family office (Luxottica/EssilorLuxottica) — one of Europes great founder-led industrial dynasties — we bring patient, long-term capital without the constraints of a traditional fund cycle. As one of the few transatlantic venture firms with genuine operating scale, we are hands-on partners from first check to IPO: sourcing seven-figure customer contracts, opening enterprise distribution channels through a 50+ company portfolio and the Luxottica global platform, and connecting founders to a curated network of institutional investors, family offices, and operators across Europe, the U.S., and Asia.Prior to founding Mangusta, Kevin was part of the founding investment team at SoftBank’s Vision Fund, where he led growth equity investments across North America in software and logistics. Over a decade at SoftBank, he sourced and led marquee investments including Flexport, ShipBob, and Wiz, delivering strong returns and guiding strategic initiatives including M&A and IPO planning as a board representative.Kevin began his career in finance, holding roles at Apollo Global Management in Private Equity, Soros Fund Management in Public Equities, and Goldman Sachs in Investment Banking. Across asset classes, he has built a reputation for disciplined execution and a founder-first approach to venture investing.A Silicon Valley native and first-generation Chinese American, Kevin holds an A.B. in Economics from Harvard. Outside of work, he’s a proud dog dad, a slightly obsessive tennis player, and a big believer in the power of good storytelling—whether it’s in a boardroom or a biography on a long-haul flight.
