AramcoPlaying a leading role in setting up a full innovation ecosystem in Dhahran. Recently was Executive Managing Director of Prosperity7 Ventures, the diversified growth venture capital fund of Saudi Aramco, investing in disruptive technologies and business models across various sectors. Aysar led the establishment of Prosperity7 from idea inception to one of the leading global VC investment platforms, with multi billion dollar funds and offices across the world. Aysar is on the board of directors of STs Corporate Innovation Fund. He also sat on the boards of different startup companies. Aysar has long experience between corporate and government positions. He played a leading role in establishing the Saudi Center of International Strategic Partnerships under the Royal Court, one of Saudi 2030 Vision Realization Programs, to elevate select bilateral relationships to strategic partnerships along all pillars of political, economic, security, and social and cultural. Prior to that, he setup the International Relations organization for the Ministry of Health, and he led the ideation and establishment of the OGCI, a climate intuitive between Aramco and global leading oil and gas companies. In Aramco, Aysar established and headed new organizations including Competitive Intelligence, and Corporate Support and Industry Insight. He was the Director of the office of the President and CEO; and headed non-oil portfolio under New Business Development, leading to some key Aramco JVs. Aysar is a former adviser for Ministry of Energy on international policies and regulations, and a lead negotiator for Saudi Arabia. He participated-in and led many multilateral expert as well as political negotiations related to energy, climate change and sustainable development, under the United Nations. He Chaired the UN Climate Change negotiations, successfully leading 192 country parties to consensus. Prior to that he held various engineering, planning and project management roles in Saudi Aramco. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering; MBA with Honors, University of Hull; various executive programs including at Stanford.
