Over the past two decades, China's medical device industry has accomplished a transformative leap from import reliance to domestic substitution and original innovation leadership, with upstream core medical materials breaking overseas monopolies to underpin global biopharmaceutical manufacturing, high-end therapeutic equipment securing positions among world-class players in oncology treatment, and proprietary minimally invasive technologies being exported internationally to set new clinical standards. However, Chinese medtech enterprises face inevitable hurdles on their path to global expansion, including tightened international regulatory frameworks, shifting geopolitical trade dynamics, and insufficient localized operational capabilities.
